Salaheddine Fellani, who goes by the artist-pseudonym ‘Silah’, is an illustrator, comic artist, and storyboarder from Southern Morocco. He is a graduate of the Fine Arts Institute of Tetouan. He was born in 1997, in Erfoud, Drâa-Tafilalet region. Fellani got his baccalaureate degree in 2015 specializing in English. Three years later, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English from Moulay Ismail University, Meknes. After his academic journey, Fellani decided to pursue an artistic career. He participated in two exhibitions for youth in Meknes and volunteered to paint murals. These activities and his friends and family’s support led Salaheddine to choose Tetouan’s National Institute of Fine Arts. Consequently, he participated in Tetouan’s International Festival of Comics in 2021.
