O’Story – أسطوري presents reinvented stories of Boughettat, Aicha Kendicha, Chertat, Bou’ou, Seht El’il, and Hammou Ounamir! It is a comic book initiated and produced by the collective Alkhariqun. This project brings together artists to create one-shots based on a mythical Moroccan character of their choice. Characterized by fantasy and regional diversity, you will enjoy reading one-shots based on famous mythical Moroccan characters!
The project aims to conduct visual research into Moroccan oral myths and present them in a new, contemporary light, while at the same time enabling the artists to address such as youth insecurity, post-colonial damage, and the promotion of multiculturalism.
