Badr Rahaoui is a self-taught comic and digital artist. Born in 2003, he is a student of economics in Mohammedia’s Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences . Passionate about manga, the young artist began his apprenticeship at the age of 15. He started his professional career in 2021, with a participation in the first project of the collective Alkhariqun. The first chapter of his comic was entitled Hell Escape. In the same year, he was selected for the exhibitions Young Talents of Africa and Blooming Heroes at the International Comics Festival of Tetouan. Indeed, Hope in Ashes was presented there, in the modern art house. He also participated in the interdisciplinary residency of research and creation organized by the association soleil de Fès and thanks to the support of the French Institute of Morocco  .
